Note to self: If I'm gonna check into FourSquare everywhere I go, do it before I friggin buy anything at said place. I missed out on a 15% discount on my purchase at AE Outfitters!
Owel, was finally able to trade in my stuff at Best Buy. So now I have card with some money on it, but I spent like an hour there and couldn't find anything I wanted to buy with it. Toyed with getting a 1 TB portable hard drive (but I still have 160 GB free space on my 500 GB one), getting some bluetooth stereo headphones (I have wired headphones that work perfectly fine, do I really want to spend money on something kinda douche-y?), putting the cash towards something like a PS3 (but the trade-in cash I got wouldn't cover all of it, so I'd still be spending a bit of cash). I decided to wait to see how much birthday money I got to see how much I'd have, but apparently I'm too old to get birthday money nowadays.
TV Commentary:
Misfits- I forget British TV seasons are short, so things happen fast! Apparently future Simon is not evil. Because he's dead now! He could've easily saved Alicia without dying himself. But I guess just like he let that weirdo loser die so that Nikki chick could get his heart and the teleporting powers to go with it, he had to die. Apparently to turn Alicia into an emotional wreck so she'll fall for present Simon! Which is a kinda messed up thing to do to a person.
But wait, so rather than him coming back to correct something and possibly save her, it seems like Future Simon is just ensuring the timeline works out the way it does. Which means he's always been a part of the past timeline, and he's always been fated to go back. But wait, doesn't that mean there's no true future for Alicia and Simon, since he has to go back in time and get killed in order for them to get together in the first place?! Argh, that's so messed up!
Smallville- Oh, forgot to mention, so apparently parallel universe Clark was going by the "Ultraman" moniker. So they made that reference. As I said before, I'm actually enjoying this final season more than I expected, if only for all the crazy references they've started having and all the people now showing up. I'm hoping the last ep they're actually able to bring back all the heroes they've had. Hawkman, Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Aquaman (and his totally smoking hot wife Mara), and Zatanna have at least been on these past couple of seasons, but I don't think Black Canary, Cyborg, or Flash have shown up in a while. I mean, I think Flash has finally played "creepy kid with messed up personal life" on every crime procedural by now, they killed Cyborg off on Flashforward, and its been canceled anyways. An I assume SGU is filmed in Vancouver also, so its not hard for Canary to reprise the role. I guess Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern are too big name to actually make an appearance, even in this last season. Not that haven't basically made Green Arrow into Batman lite.
