No more charades, my heart has been displayed

So after work, hit the mall to do some shopping. As I remarked on facebook, the chyx working at American Eagle Outfitters are way too bubbly. Well, I was already eye-rolling at one of the guys working there, who when some lady customer said "I feel like I won the lottery" (I suppose she must've gotten some very good deal or something) he was all, "Nah, we won the lottery when you came in today!" Is he serious?! I mean, I think I would be kinda offended at such blatant and lame ass-kissing.

Anyways, so I get to the register, and since I shop at AE Outfitters pretty often, I've had a card with them for years. The sales girl was a short haired caramel honey, and I guess she had never seen the old card or something, because she was like "OMG!" and acting like it was the coolest thing ever. Like she was showing it to the brunette snowflake somewhat cutie at the register next to her. And then when she checked my ID and saw my b-day, she's like all shocked and oh-em-gee again because we had the exact same birthday. Then caramel and snowflake wished me a happy b-day and gave me five. WTF?!! Then they were shocked to learn I was as old as I was and didn't think I was that old and would've pegged me as 23 or 25. Liars! But yeah, they just continued blathering on about some inane nonsense. It was like talking to a child! What's with these teen girls these days?! Were they always this ridiculous?!

So I was looking through my music today, and was shocked to see that the only No Doubt song I had on there was "Hella Good". It was surprising given how much other "bands fronted by chyx" music I had- Paramore, Flyleaf, Blondie, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, The Cardigans, The Cranberries. I guess I did have some Gwen Stefani (who, like Kate Hudson, I think would be infinitely hotter if she had a bigger rack) But I digress, I remedied the situation by getting some stuff from their Singles Collection album, as well as some Hall and Oates stuff off "The Very Best of Daryl Hall/John Oates". (Hey, Hall and Oates rocks!)

No love for Pat Benatar?

And Hall and Oates were on the Daily Show last week. Hall now has facial hair while Oates does not. Yet another example of my world turned upside down.

I actually have a bunch of Pat Benatar. But even if she has a regular backing band, the act is in her name, so I don't count that as "a chick-fronted group".

Then Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, or Scandal?

I do have the Warrior, though I wonder if I woulda gotten it if the Stewie I-pod commercial hadn't reminded me of its existence. But alas, I don't have anything by Joan Jett currently.
