Ugh, am I freaking tired! I don't think I've gotten more than five hours of sleep a night this week. And what really pisses me off is that I'm struggling to stay awake through the daily grind and all the Christmas business, but when its actual sleep time, I can't! Its total BS!! Like last night, I was all set to fall asleep after Leverage, but I was working on a little project that forced me to stay up a little longer. And I could sense myself fading while I was working. But when I was done and lay down, I couldn't sleep for a friggin hour. It makes me so mad!

And its not even the usual thinking about stuff and stressing, because all I'm trying to concentrate on is sleeping. But its been taking a while to fall asleep. And its not like I took in some caffeine or something else to keep me awake to finish up the stuff I was doing before sleep. Mebbe I should have though, given how quickly I crash from non-soda caffination. I shoulda eaten one of the last tiramasus in the fridge. You know, I had no idea coffee was one of the ingredients in tiramasu. I often wondered why I've always felt like passing out twenty minutes after eating them. Its that whole quick crash thing I get from coffee products.

And I have to hit the mall after work, so its not like I can take a nap this afternoon. Owel, at least there's only Pushing Daisies tonight. And that's the other thing, its not even TV that's been keeping me up! Like, I still haven't watched the Dexter season finale or Monday's Prison Break. But I did manage to catch HIMYM. Ha, so Ted's sister is the Pink Time Force Ranger. So both he and Robin have cute younger sisters, Robin's being played by the mad cute Lucy Hale. And what was up with Canadians being afraid of the dark? Of course, who isn't, really? Well, not neccesarily afraid, but who doesn't not like the dark? Its, well, dark, and you can hardly see anything!

Bleh! Tiramisu! Tastes like coffee :(

...

Have you tried warm milk? Grin. Actually I usually have some hot chocolate on cold nights about bedtime, and it does seem to help me get sleepy.

heh, we don't have milk at the house! There should be though, I shouldn't be just drinking water or soda all the time.

Who has time for breakfast? Ida know, when I'm on dayshift, for me, work starts too early for me to have breakfast at home, so if I do eat something, its usually a pop tart from home I'm heating at work, or a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit from juniors.

What, cereal's only for breakfast? Oh.

The pop tart's full of sugar which will give you about an hour of wide awakeness but then cause you to crash. The sausage egg and cheese biscuit is a better option (as far as staying awake, anyway). Try keeping track of the days you're most tired/most awake and what you had for breakfast that day.
