wicked pissah
Went to Burrito Art w/ Krug, Joseph, and Bill the GMA last night. It was trivia night, so we thought we'd try our hand in that. I guess half the dream team was there, my trivia dream team being myself, Scott, Bill, and JBarkle. Of course, Joe Barkley has always argued, "So what do you bring to the team?" Hey, I know stuff! Of course, anything I know one of the three of them would also know. But its called redundancy! And actually, Joseph is pretty useful. He knows a lot about that sports crap, and he and Bill can talk things out to try and brainstorm and answer.
But Scott wasn't there! He was suppossed to be, but Sato was sick. Heh, the old ball and chain. Instead of hanging with the guys, he's home with his old lady. Just teasing you, boy! It does disturb me greatly that I can no longer count the number of ex-college peeps I know who are married on one hand. And that's with counting Kramer and Galadriel as one unit!
Anyways, we totally kicked everyone else's ass. The final score was us at 120, the next at 96, and third place at 78. Which had us confused, since going into the final round, we had 100, and there were at least three teams in the 96-98 range. And the Q was "When was the abolishment of slavery put in the constitution?" (or something along those lines) a) 1835, b) 1865, c) 1888, or d)1901. The answer is obviously "B". But the way the scores went, the other peeps right behind us must have gotten it wrong. Ah'm skeptical.
Wow, it was nice to be #1. In all the times we played Rock and Roll Trivia at the Star Bar, I think we were only #1 once. Owel, it was fun, hopefully Scott will be able to make it next time.
Cool, will prolly see Bourne Identity tonight with Krug, Bill, Joseph, and their roomie Charlie. Joseph was able to score some free passes (don't bother e-mailing or replying to this, there's none left if anyone was curious) for a preview showing. Was the Run Lola Run chick the person who presented with Matt Damon at the MTV movie awards last Thursday? I assumed so, since they were pairing everyone up from their movies, like they had Affleck with Bill's babysitter. That chick is hot! Too bad Bill was prolly too young to appreciate that.
