The Phantom

Was watching the Trailer for that Phantom of the Opera movie coming out next month. You gonna watch that, [livejournal.com profile] isabel79? Heh, I've never actually seen the pkay, but between her and my ex-roomie Hieu, those songs were burned into my brain. [livejournal.com profile] psyched_out was subjected to some of Hieu's constant phantom playing freshman year, but I actually had to go to sleep to that (well, that and Enigma) at night. (Though could you hear it through the door?) It was amusing though, that most of Hieu's talk was influenced by that and Mortal Kombat. So, thinking back on it, it was kinda funny to have him just randomly shout, "Sing, sing to me!" and "You Will Die, Mortal!" every so often.

The first time I saw the trailer, I didn't know the main chick was played by Emmy Rossum. I thought she was kinda cute in Day After Tomorrow. Ida know, I may try and catch this.

Of course I'm gonna see it! Can't wait. Actually I'm acclimatizing my self to the music so it doesn't throw me off. Why did they have to make the Raoul guy so crappy looking!?! But then again everyone else POTO...

Yeah, I was surprise Emmy Rossum was in The Day After Tomorrow. It sucked!

I've got the songs stuck in my head all over again, I've been humming them all day.

Day After Tomorrow was funny. Of course, the only thing that really got me through it was guessing when those wolves that escaped from the Central Park zoo would show up. I would keep elbowing [livejournal.com profile] clevemire and saying, "this is it!" Like when the basement of the library was flooding and what's his face was on the phone and the girl was all looking and waiting for him to come up, I was all "the wolf's gonna jump out of the water right now and attack her!" I felt so vindicated when they finally showed up.

Maybe I should have watched the movie with you instead of my rents... Might have been amusing in it's absurdity. My Mom kept screaming at every little thing.
