Owel, its dark and wet outside. But the weather is okay, warm, with a light drizzle. Hopefully, it'll stay like that. And roads will be clear and the power working everywhere I need to be tonight. Anyways, yesterday, left work when it was still only lightly raining and got home no problem. Did laundry and cleaned up some more. Thankfully, power and internet where up. I was watching the latest video footage of Devil May Cry 3 off of Gamespot (the game looks way awesome, btw) when [livejournal.com profile] turdburgler asked if she could come over to weather the storm before she headed up home. Apparently, traffic was bad though, as it took her and from the sounds of it, [livejournal.com profile] clevemire about an hour to get from Tech to CR. Which is crazy, given it took me only ten minutes a couple of hours earlier. So watched TV with sis until things died down outside and it seemed okay for her to head back home. A few minutes after she left, the roomie got back with a pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza, sans the pepperoni, for the dude forgot to put it on. The bastard! What's a pizza without pepperoni?!

Surprisingly, through all this, the satellite reception was decent. Missed a few seconds of Joey here and there, but The OC Obsess Completely special I was recording in my room seemed to turn out fine. Then again, the box in my room seems to be less affected by the degradation of signal. The special was interesting and funny, RB looked totally hot, and the previews for the upcoming season look interesting. And wow, they're really moving fast with the soundtracks. They're already coming out with a second one, and the second season hasn't even started yet. And they have a third one, a special Chrismukkah album out as well. Then again, they've always been big on the music. Apparently, they're adding one of those club hang-outs to the show where they can bring bands in to play, which I always thought was lame for shows to do. Peach Pit after Dark? P3? The Bronze? I'm surprised the Talon hasn't had bands playing. Jeez, even Boss Hog got various singers to play at his club. I remember one Dukes ep where he was dancing white-ily to Roy Orbison (I think). But I know Roy Orbison was definitely one of the performers they had in Hazzard.
