Just eating lunch right now. I usually pick up a bacon double cheeseburger or a double whopper at the BK, but I decided to combine the two and get a bacon whopper with cheese. I forgot the whopper comes with mayo, which greatly raises my opinion of the whopper. Anyways, spent the entire morning cutting and trimming tile. One of my better cuts, I think. And the trim worked out exactly. But my hands and arms and pants were coated with concrete dust, which was kinda gross. I would've liked to have been done with it and seen there were no outstanding tickets, but sure enough, there were. Eh, I've learned to expect such things. But really, what is it that peeps are doing?! I do all these other things and still end up handing all these requests. What the f?!

Anyways, finished up Heat Guy J, which [livejournal.com profile] turdburgler was kind enough to lend me. I really enjoyed the series, and just ordered my own set off of Deep Discount DVD. After all, what's not to like, cool story, lots of action, many rich and interesting characters. The ending reminded me a little of Cowboy Bebop's ending. Except no one died. Which is good, because I hate that! I dunno, maybe some people like these stories were people make a noble sacrifice or like seeing a portrayal of how senseless death can be. But I don't. Who likes seeing characters they've come to know and like get snuffed? I like the ending to be as happy as it can be. Anyways, it was neat to see them practically bring back everybody for the ending. And they left it pretty open ended, so there could always make more.

Oh, even though [livejournal.com profile] clevemire will prolly think this was a waste of money, I saw Hero in the theater yesterday. The sound in the movie is amazing. I think its most evident in the Flying Snow vs Moon scene, where I don't remember the wind being so damn loud on the DVD. You get a feeling of Snow's power there. They do change a few of the translations, which still worked, though I liked the original translation better. Oh, and Zhang Ziyi is hot!

That was more of a spoiler for bebop than heatguy j! :P

Well if it's the end, you're never going to see the characters you've grown to like ever again, so who cares if they die or not? When they brought the characters back together for the end, did they all hold hands and sing "good morning starshine?"

No, they blew up a lot of shit!
