Beat single player mode in K Revolution 2 today. Thankfully, except for the next to last level, each venue had at least one thing I could do really well. I should work on the first volume now. And I still need to get back to TF and Onimusha 3. Went to Best Buy and picked up 13 Going on 30 (hey, Jennifer Garner looked mad cute in that, and its a pretty amusing film) and Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex Vol 1. Watching GitS right now, looks pretty cool.

I still need to pick up volume 2 -- I've only got the first one. It'll be a while before I can afford to do so unfortunately.

I like volume 2 better, it has a single song mode from the start (I don't know if its something you unlock in the first one) so you can just pick any song and play. I mean, if you're by yourself, karaoke mode is no fun, because then you're just singing to yourself! At elast this way your accomplishing something. And single player mode, you have to unlock all the venues to get access to all the songs. Of course, if there was a bigger selection of songs, I'd like the games even better.

Yeah -- more so than DDR, KR really needs a large selection of songs (and genres!) to really be as replayable. I think it took no more than a week to really burn oneself out on KR vol. 1. Then again, I guess there have been like 50 different releases in Japan (well, I exaggerate, but if you check gamefaqs you can see all the Japanese releases) versus two for the US.
