If sick people are gonna be all sick, they should stay home and not risk infecting peeps. Works been slow and quiet, sorta. They tried bringing up that one firewall back online, but its still problematic. And we have no way of knowing its all screwy until the users start complaining. Anyways, picked up Sleeper: Out in the Cold from Oxford yesterday, cause I heard pretty good things about it. Haven't read it yet, still on the Sorceror's Stone.

Was cleaning up my mailboxes and as such, re-read some old mail. Its incredible how many people I forgot I owed punches in the stomach to. Though I'm trying to figure out if these people are owed punches for any other reason besides insulting or besmirching the reputation of any ladyfriends. Then there were the occasional, "I wrote this?" e-mails. And also, e-mails where I'm recounting something that happened to a friend, and not remembering all those details listed then nowadays. Like, there were things from the Jenny the waitress debacle I had totally forgotten about. Dammit, I'm such a clod! But seeing that though, I'll just tell [livejournal.com profile] clevemire, that $10 is as good as mine!

I wanted to stay home sick today but they give me no sick leave AND they couple sick leave with personal days, making it not make a lot of sense to stay home :(

and most people here did the same thing so voila! me sick from them! lamers!!

but govt/school jobs usually give you lots of sick leave so if people at your place at sick, I say kill them!!

Exactly! They have more than enough of sick and vacation leave that it should be no problem to stay home! Its like, they should take another day off, no one's gonna get mad or anything, just don't infect anyone! At least one of them already wised up and took off for the day.

You've got a little over 2 weeks, and my $10 is still looking pretty safe.
