Flashpoint- So I noticed the series finale of Flashpoint was showing this afternoon. I've watched this show on and off over the years, so I figured I'd see how it ends. And, I'm only half way through the two part finale, and WTF, show!! Donna gets blown up?! That's total BS! I mean, she's a secondary character so its a way to cheat and have an emotional punch without killing any of the main characters off, but its not fair. She had her happy ending, she got married. Well, her wedding day was kinda bloody what with that whole thing with the Irish mob and her ex-partner, but her husband survived getting shot, and she didn't end up throwing her life away by executing the man who shot him. Like after a horrible experience like that on your wedding day, that should be it for her character, that's enough bad stuff for her to endure.
And wow, I wonder if Ed is going to feel guilty. She was actually working on finding his son in the rubble of city hall, like that's how close she was with Team One. But since Ed was almost there to find his son himself, and her team was the closest to the bomber, he thanked her and told her to go. I mean, regardless she had to go because Team Three was the one that could get to the bomber the quickest, so its not like she could be all, "Nah, I'll just look for this one kid!" So I would think it would effect him since he told her to go, even though she was going anyway. But yeah, it sucks even more that the guy was just bait, and a sadistic scumbag to boot. So its not like there were people to save by diffusing the bomb. Well, that bait guy, but still.
And I just friggin realized, she died the exact same way in NCIS!
