Avatar- You know, I feel a little bad, but I'm actually satisfied with the way the things turned out in this ep. I mean, I've said before, I wouldn't wish the permanent loss of bending ability on my worst enemy, but so much for my convictions. After the Wolfbats won, I was totally wishing for the Equalists to attack and take their bending. Which they did! Its funny, because other than the fact that they blew a bunch of stuff up, Amon wasn't exactly wrong in his speech. While I'm sure not all benders are bullies, I'm sure they're still more regarded than non-benders. Though I don't think that can be helped, of course you're going to think people who can bend the friggin elements are just better. But yeah, the people just watched a match glorifying a bunch of cheating bullies. Amon kinda had a point.
Heh, as soon as they mentioned Lin and Tenzin were friends when they were kids, I totally realized Lin was the woman that Tenzin was seeing before Pema got him. Which was quickly confirmed.
Interesting though, so the metal benders armor doe indeed protect them from chi blocking. Unfortunately, it leaves them vulnerable to the Equalists shock gloves. But surely they could make armor of a material that would protect them from electricity but at the same time be hard enough so that a chi blocker couldn't do chi blocking on them.
Oh, and could that one councilman be any more obvious he's a bad guy? Like when he's talking with Lin and changes his vote if she can guarantee everyone's safety, he's saying it in this tone that's all, "Oh, so you're saying if something bad happens, its on you, which is good, because I know the equalists are going to sneak attack you and when you fail I can use that to discredit you".
Young Justice- Ah, I can't believe I didn't realize that. I mean, I can't remember how I knew, if it was mentioned on the show, or because I knew how that was in the comics, but Aqualad was Black Manta's son. So given his absence in the new lineup, it should've been obvious he had joined his dad.
And I'm confused, did Superman call Superboy "Kyle" at the end? Or was I mishearing things? I mean, I was actually curious if the show was pulling some trick and this Superboy might have been the other Superboy that was still in Cadmus. But I dismissed that because when Superboy was talking about breaking up with M'Gan, unless they did something really crazy and something happened to Connor, and this Kyle guy replaced him and also went out with Miss Martian.
Also, that is weird that news of what the Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, John Stewart Green Lantern, Hawk Girl, and Martian Manhunter didn't make it to the Guardians. I mean, I would think if 6 Superheroes went on a 16 hour rampage and threatening everyone would be big news, even in a huge galaxy.
Nikita- Ah, I knew that guy in the beginning was someone. It was that one guy who was egg-cited to be an agent, but was relegated to being a guard, so he went nuts and went on a killing rampage, and then Division faked his death and made him a Cleaner. I was surprised they hadn't done anything with him. Of course, he finally shows up, and they kill him off.
So, the Division folks who pose as "Ma and Pa Kent" and watch the farm sitting on top of Division, I hope that isn't a permanent post. Because yeah, Nikita and co infiltrated it, but that is prolly a once in a lifetime thing, because who'd know about division and then be crazy enough to try and attack it?! I should hope they get switched out every so often, because otherwise it seems like one would get incredibly bored.
Supernatural- Is it me, or was the thing with Alpha vamp and Emily uncomfortably kinky? I mean, its obviously not sexual, because he wants her for her virgin blood. But it is creepy she calls him daddy and lives in a little girl's room even though she's 20. Which speaking of, I can understand her not knowing who the Kardashians are. But surely she'd know what a cellphone is even if she was kidnapped and kept prisoner since 2000. Well, I guess she would've been 8 at the time, and perhaps never saw a cellphone at that point in her life since she was a kid and they weren't as prevalent back then. Still, it seems kinda weird.
Then again, she was also a liar. Though why pretend you don't know what a cellphone is?
The Finder- Weird, either Walter and his brother are younger than I think, or that weather vane making lady is older than I think, because she does not seem to be old enough to be in the work force when Walter was a kid.
And what the?! Walter was in the military, but the way they took those guys apart seemed like he has some definite skillz. Was this part of the whole, he doesn't know what happens if he can't find something, i.e., if some guys stand in his way and can't be reasoned with, he'll effin kill them? Or did the fact that they were threatening his mom have something to do with it?
And the ep ends on cliffhangers, with Walter being arrested and Willa running away, which will never be resolved since the show was canceled.
