TV commentary:

HIMYM- Some times this show bugs me with its inconsistency. On the one hand, they do have plenty of callbacks to previous eps. On the other hand, you have them do minor things that aren't long-arc reaching things, but are inconsistent with previous eps. Like one of the themes this ep is how the advent of the smartphone and the ease of looking things up on the internet has killed "the bar debate". After all, its easy to put an end to an argument if you can look up the answer. So if they were doing that all the time now, why the hell did they not do that when Barney thought it was "Jacob James Olmos" last week? (I know, its so they could make that Edward/Jacob joke, but that was pretty nonsensical)

NCIS- TV action show/crime procedural rule #61: You're investigating a family with a certain background, one of whom you're sure is about to pull off a huge attack. Of the two children, one is very angry and confrontational and vocal about his disdain for the West. The other is amicable, went to school in the West and has been very helpful and has tried to smooth things over between you and the more hateful members of his family. Its always the latter one who's the terrorist.

Sons of Anarchy- Ha! I don't know what Unser was thinking! As expected, the club kept the investigation of the note in house, and even richer, they had Unser investigate his own note. I mean, did he really expect that Tara would be able to go the police? She woulda told Jax or Gemma first, and they definitely would be, "Hell no, we don't want the police involved!" Also, its already suspicious, because the cartel wouldn't send her a warning note before they killed her.

(Oh, heh, when Jax was chasing those shooters, and he managed to wound one of them, I was thinking to myself, "Wow, I figured they'd finish the guy off rather than let him get captured by the Sons and talk". But then they apparently heard me and did indeed kill the guy before Jax could get anything out of him)

But wow, poor Juice! Lincoln forces Roosevelt to strong-arm Juice with some dirty underhanded tactics to try and get his cooperation. Juice hasn't decided what the hell he's gonna do when Clay basically gives him kudos and promotes him. So, he decides to hang himself. And he's totally not dead, because that sound as we fade to black was the bough of the tree breaking. I highly doubt the show is gonna let poor Juice off that easily.
