TV commentary:
I'm amused that both Dexter and Misfits this past week has "is she cute" moments? Nathan finds out Simon has a sister and Masuka hears Astor has a friend, asking Simon and Dexter, respectively, if they are cute. Even though both girls are entirely too young for them. Do I come off that creepy with my constant "is she cute?" questioning?
Misfits- So Nate apparently has a half brother. And he meets a cute bartender with ice powers. At a rave, they all take some drugs which end up "reversing" their powers. All of them kinda make sense for Kelly's- Nate can see dead people, Curtis jumps to the future, people are repulsed by Alisha, while everyone admires Simon. But Kelly just ends up telling everyone her thoughts. I mean, sure, its opposite, but that's not really a power, its a weird tick!
But Simon manages to find what he thinks is the hooded man's house, but its actually the house of some chick Curtis is apparently doing in the future. I wonder what she is to him? Part of me thinks she's a villain, a taboo relationship the future hero version of him has, maybe?
Dexter- This season seems to be heading to an interesting conclusion! So, Astor shows back at home, thinking the place is empty and running into Lumen. Ah, I always find Astor and her snits hilarious. It was hysterical when she thought Harrison was calling Lumen "mama". I mean, its understandable that she's upset, as Dexter's relationship with Lumen does look suspicious.
And now Deb knows about Lumen also! Well, this ep is full of everyone finding out everything! The police find out Boyd wasn't working alone and re-open the case. Though Dex is so busy with his stuff that he's not worried about that yet. Deb had confronted LaGuerta on not re-opening the case initially, and learns Quinn (who in some scenes made me see why he played Chuck's uncle on GG, I thought he looked somewhat like Chuck in this ep) was looking into Dexter.
Robocop shows what he has to Quinn, and Quinn tries to pay him off to drop the case, trying to salvage his relationship with Deb, but Robocop thinks he's about to find something big that he can use to screw over the department. Finding out Dex was the real Butcher Bay killer would be quite embarrassing!
But what a creepy ending! Apparently Jordan Chase knows all about Dex and Lumen and menaces her over the phone. He's definitely gonna be a tough nut to crack, since he knows they're coming and has beefed up his security, not to mention is prolly coming up with other countermeasures against them. But at least Dex has a lead from that blood vial Jordan wears around his neck.
