Must think positive. This day is off to a lousy start, but I don't want to start thinking its gonna be a bad day lest my negative thoughts make that a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I finally hooked up the old Dreamcast back up to the entertainment center a couple of days ago. Ben owned the PS2 and I'm sure he was so glad we couldn't play it anymore. I'll prolly buy a PS2 in August, whenever Tekken 4 comes out here in the US. What does that have to do with today? Well, since its summer re-runs, I thought, I'll play some Soul Calibur (the only game we have for the DC) and ended up losing track of time and going to bed late. Accordingly, I didn't want to wake up when my alarm went off this morning. And I had to wake earlier than usual since I had to shave. I cut myself shaving, of course, and am still dissatisfied. I can never get a close enough shave!

Got a little dirty in the parking lot since I saw one of the neighbor's cats by my car but it slinked off somewhere and I wanted to make sure it wasn't under or near my car lest I accidentally run it over. I don't like the sound of my car, especially when trying to accelerate rapidly. Of course, I prolly shouldn't be racing with a Beemer on the way to work. So I said screw it and conceded. I'm not gonna wreck the Intimidator over it. Yes, my car is named after Dale Earnhardt. No, not because I'm a NASCAR fan, but because the car came with a Dale Earnhardt "3" sticker when I bought it. Anyways, I digress.

Not only was I a few minutes late to work, I also realized I had forgot my breakfast! Of course, I'd hardly call a pastry swirl "breakfast". All in all, there was no one big lousy thing that happenned, just a bunch of annoying little things to make me skeptical about the way this day is gonna shape up.
