TV Commentary:
V- Some pretty interesting developments this episode! Okay, I figured the assassin was a plant by the Vs, but I did not expect the guy interviewing Wash to be one of the 5th Column turncoats. Like when he started telling Wash Juliet (I still don't know the characters well enough to not call them by other names) would be perfect, I was all, "That's weird, those Vs certainly have the oddest plans!" It took me a second to realize, "Oh, he's one of the rebels!" Well played show!
And interesting, Lisa is Anna's daughter? (Hey, I didn't say "Supergirl is Inara's daughter"!)
90210- Wow, Naomi was very likable this ep. I mean, her convo with Navid in the beginning, she was being spoiled and superficical but in a charming and fun way. But then she breaks the news to college boy about using his roommate since he was the son of the dean of Admissions, and of course, he's mad. But then she apologizes to everyone, and has a nice scene with Liam that doesn't get interrupted by her krant of a sister. But looks like she's back on Liam now. Wonder how Ivy will feel about that.
But getting back to Naomi's C-word sister, this whole Jen development with Matthews weirds me out. Like, why the hell did she agree to be exclusive last week, and then she seemed legitimately hurt when Matthews got mad at her and called her on always having to do her things, and sorry that she wasn't being more fair, and actually told the truth about her brokeness. I mean, she revealed it to Naomi to manipulate her away from believing Liam, but I'm not sure what revealing the truth to teach actually gets her. Unless she really does like him and is trying to be more honest.
Anyways, looks like Silver and Kelly's mom wasn't totally dead the end of last ep, they manage to revive her and she stays alive long enough to apologize to Kelly and let her say goodbye. I guess Naomi was busy being apologetic and Ade is on the drugs, but its still shocking they weren't there for her. Like where was Teddy also? Weren't they supposed to have a half b-day for her that day? Like why wouldn't everyone know that her mom was in the hospital and be there for her?
Also prolly not dead? Navid. So he warns Dixon about Jasper, who tells his parents, right before they meet him for dinner. But unlike Annie, they're not snowed by the little psycho's sob story and insist Annie break up with him. She tels Jasper the news, so he pushes Navid down the stairs!
I would think he's not dead, given the previews for the next ep seem to indicate wacky hijinks trying to finally expose Jen for the C-word she is. And even if they do need to give that bitch what's coming to her, not while Navid is lying in a coma! Well, I guess there's nothing they really could do for him if he's in the hospital, but I would think they could ascertain it was Jasper who hurt him. (Well, then again, everyone thought it was Annie who Liam slept with for so long, maybe he will get away with it for a while) But I would think that would put Jasper on top of their shit list above Jen. Because tormenting Liam and manipulating Naomi is pretty bad, but hospitalizing Navid and selling Ade drugs is way worse!
