Then 80 jedi showed up and I like took out 67 of them
ugh, I think I finally got whatever bug has been floating around these past few weeks. It did lead to some delirium filled "sleep" (and I wasn't even hopped up on nyquil!). Fun!
Is it me, or is this the most hilariously LCD movie ever? I mean, it looks so terrible that its kinda awesome.
TV Commentary:
Is it me, or was the plot to last night's American Dad one of the most disturbing plots to a show, ever?!
On True Blood, so Rene is the killer!? I knew it! Well, I was suspicious, especially a few eps ago when his fiancee was gushing about what a good guy he was. Which means he actually isn't. But what clinched it for me was when Jason was telling Rene and that other guy that Amy took V. And that other guy was too obviously pissed, like the show was trying too hard to make it seem like he was the killer for him to actually be the killer. And then Amy is suddenly killed, and its like, "Gee, who else just recently heard Amy is into vamp blood, besides red herring guy?" Hmm, I'm trying to think, but I guess he was around whenever Jason would vent about finding out how all the various chyx he's been screwing have had vamp sex.
Oh, but the whole Jessica subplot was hilarious!! Last week, they made her out to be the typical socially repressed, fearful baptist girl, so I was thinking when she arose she'd be all lamenting the fact that she was an abominable creature. But she ended up being the exact opposite! All bratty and wanting to do all the things her parents said were wrong. Call me messed up, but it was kinda hott!
Ok, last night's ep of Dexter was the most hilarious one ever. I mean, between Angel's pathetic phone message to Barbara (luckily, she found it adorable), to hormonal Rita being all crazy, there was a lot to laugh about. I think my favorite line was when Rita calls Dex up:
Rita: "I was listening to the radio and heard this love song that reminded me of you..."
Dex: "Oh, that's sweet..."
Rita: "And it made me think of how mad I am at you!"
HA!! And it wasn't just Rita he was getting it from! When he goes ring shopping with Deb, and Deb tries to get Dex's advice on the whole Anton thing, except she thinly veils the whole situation, and its obvious she's expecting a reassuring answer. So when Dexter doesn't give her it, she's all, "What the eff do you know!?" Again, HA!!
But wow, Miguel actually does the kill this ep, Dexter becoming mentor to him when they go after an ex-football player turned enforcer. As I keep saying, I'm still not convinced he's not playing Dex. I mean, he brings up how suspicious it is that Dex knows all this stuff, then voices his suspicion that Freebo wasn't his first. I think he's playing a role, slowly saying just the right things to get Dex to let down his walls. I mean, if he suspects Freebo isn't Dexter's first, than surely he can put two and two together and realize that Dex is the Bay Harbor Butcher! Like what are the chances that same department has two vigilante serial killers.
But yeah, I think Dexter is so snowed he doesn't realize he just created a serial killer. I mean, he was so concerned with not freaking Miguel out and keeping him as a friend, and making sure they did it right so they wouldn't get caught, that I don't think he even noticed how Miguel wanting to take the ring after they killed the guy is a big red flag! He should know serial killers like to take trophies to be reminded of their kills! This isn't vigilante justice for Miguel, its serial killing!
Oh, and they're trying to make you think he went over to that lawyer chyx house to kill her, but I'm not so sure about that. The way she looked at him when she let him in, I think they might be having an affair! I mean, she just lets him in, no, "What the hell are you doing at my doorstep in the middle of the night?"
Anton's missing, possibly the next skinner victim, who may be the boss of the one guy Deb talked to earlier in the season. At least that's what we're lead to believe when said guy totally freaks out when he finds out his boss tried to intimate that he was the skinner. I wonder if he really is the skinner, or if he's just a connection to something more nefarious? I still think the whole Prado thing and the skinner thing will intersect by the end of the season.
