Owel, with Christmas in the middle of the week, everyone has work and no one's around. So I've been borrowing the rents laptop and vegging out on the couch while watching the telly and surfing the web. Hey, you're supposed to take it easy on vacation! I did go to Manhattan yesterday with mother. Had pizza for lunch, (as I had every day this week except Christmas. Its a NY delicacy!) then went to Bloomingdales. One thing I forgot about NY that I liked, that the girls are hip, I really dig those styles they wear. One thing I don't like about NY though, the aggressive driving.
I've complained about this before, but I don't see how an empty space by the side of the road because there's no one parked there invites the person behind there to pull up next to you at the light and try to overtake you when it turns green. WTF?!! Its not like I was even driving slow. Of course, I never back down, so as soon as the light turned green, I gunned it. Geez, and the guy was still trying to race me across the intersection even though there was a car parked there. But you got to show these people you won't back down, if you let them intimidate you, they'll walk all over you.
Owel, just saw Little Manhattan. Its a hilariously cute movie, and it has a nice soundtrack too. Actually, watched Rent over lunch as well. Between those two movies and actually being here, I'm reminded that NYC is the greatest city in the world! (And yet, I'm spending my time here in front of the puter and TV!)
