dreams

Had a wild dream last night. Well, not that wild. And wild as in "pretty weird", not "tawdry and salacious". Too bad I can't remember the majority of it. I know at one part, I was in this pizzeria (or was it a taqueria?) And this guy comes in and tries to rob the place and one of the patron stops him. Suddenly, I activate my rewind ability for some reason, and flashback to when the robber first comes in. Just as he's about to pull his gun, I rush over and get him in a lock and pin him against the wall. So I'm holding the guy in one hand and trying to dial 911 on my cellphone with the other when I ask the owner if he wants me to take this guy to the cops. But he says no! He just says to take the guy's weapons and let him go. So I take his gun, and am about to let him go when I see he was about to grab for his knife so I take that away too. Then he's all upset because he says he needs his weapons to protect him from rival gangs. Unsympathetic, I kick him out and keep his gun.

Then later, I'm back in high school and its almost graduation. I'm wandering the halls, with this feeling that I'm not supposed to be there. But I get to my locker and my combination works. Then I see Dawn and Rob from homeroom. So I follow them to homeroom and everyone is there, loafing around because its the last day of class and graduation is tomorrow. Next, I go to this huge graduation party and all these people I know are there, even non-HS folks. At one point, Julie asks me if the toilets here are okay for her to use because she was worried they might be dirty and beneath her. At another, I was sitting at a table with Chase and Jennifah and they were talking to some people I know and they didn't. Anyways, I sit down and start having a snack. And this ring falls out of the snack box, so one of the people says to me, "Oh, why don't you propose to Jennifah?" So I'm all, "What?!" and turning pale from embarassment. And they're all, "You know, mebbe if you give her another option, she'll choose not to marry Chase!" So I'm looking like I want the ground to swallow me up right there, because Jennifah didn't know I had a thing for her (although Chase suspected). Unfortunately, I can't remember a thing after that other than graduation being at this giant baseball stadium and Rachel was supposed to give a speech to the entire crowd and they couldn't hear her because she didn't have a microphone. At one point, I also realized that I wasn't supposed to be there because I already graduated. So the dream wasn't that special, but it was eerily vivid at the time.
