A New Year
Wow, its a new year already. Hard to believe how quickly the time goes by. Where does the time go by? Back in Atlanta, still recovering from being sick right after Christmas. Got a 102 degree fever a couple days after Christmas so I was forced to stay in for the rest of my stay in NY. Not that I was going anywhere anyways. I prolly still would've just watched TV and played video games all day. Got to try out Elizabeth's Passat, albiet briefly, backing it out of the garage. Its a cool car. Then went grocery shopping with Theresa and Kristen to prepare for the New Year's bash in Long Island.
New Year's came and went. The family headed over to Long Island and we had lumpia and big samiches and pasts. Although Roscel was the only one of the sisters to come. Tsk, tsk! Elizabeth let me borrow her 24 tape so I've finally seen all the 24 eps. Mia Kirshner's character was pretty cool. Too bad it looks like she's not going to be on anymore eps. Perhaps this vague reference to a job in the summer is a set up for next season?
Was slated to come back to Atlanta on the 3rd of January, but the snow storms in the Southeast stopped that. So I flew in Friday at noon. Countless delays due to various things. Got home, hung out w/ Scott and Krug while I started doing laundry, then hit Copeland's w/ Chris, Krug, Jeremy, Jason, and Jeremiah. Went home early to finish my laundry and get some sleep. Weird, I heard when Scott and Sato came in w/ Austina and Ryan Fernandez in tow. I was in the half-asleep/half-awake mode and my mind was doing this freaky select sound filtering things because conversations and music would fade in and out. Some sounds got lower while other came in more loud and clearly. Not that I remember anything I heard, just that I remember hearing sounds.
Woke up around 5 this morning and rested in bed a while. Hit Kroeger before I got to work to get tissues and cold medicine and juice. Nothing's really happened at work. Helped change out a tape drive, watched Mortal Kombat, Book of Stars (cool flick), Three to Tango, and Carrie. Switched over and caught some of that Beastmaster show and am watching Mutant X now.
