Met up with S+S in Manhattan this afternoon. Had lunch at this Deli (bergers? I forget the name) Apparently, the waitress didn't even know what I ordered was on the menu. When I placed my order she was all, "What the hell is that?!" Afterwards, went to this Japanese bookstore. Alas, all their graphic novels were shrink-wrapped, so I couldn't read any of them. Sato wanted to hit Tiffany's and Coach's. I had never been to Tiffany's, and was shocked to learn you actually can't have breakfast there. Lots of expensive stuff there. And chyx coveting that stuff. Coach's had some cute hats that would really accentuate the cuteness of any mad cuties who wore them.
After that, we headed over to Tribeca to that Dream House place that Scott had heard of. A very interesting experience it was. Kinda trippy. The sounds seemed to be floating in my head, and the optical tricks they were projecting on the walls were neat. (Yes, I need a thesaurus, if only to find other adjectives besides "cool", "pretty", "interesting", or "neat".) Headed back, had dinner at the Rainbow Cafe. All in all, a fun time, albeit a little tiring.
