turdburgler's comments about DW5, I picked it up (along with God of War and the latest GItS:SAC DVD) Its pretty neat. Only played one character so far, Cao Pi, of course. He's pretty cool. He seems like a pretty solid character, and his attack method is sound, And his c1 attack is pretty neat, he does a quick spell and creates an orb that hovers there in mid air for a few seconds then explodes and hits enemies as if they were hit with an ice orb. Although from the intro, it looks like he and Zhao Yun are considered the 2 main characters? And does that mean Cao Pi is the new Wei leader? After all, he was the first emperor of Wei.
But it sucks not having Shadow Runner. Having to run from place to place is so slow! Only tried two levels so far, Yellow Turban Rebellion and Hu Lao Gate, I wanted to start off easy. Doesn't look like there any surprising changes in those levels that I noticed, other than a change in layout. Maybe I'll play a little more today, but I need to get a haircut and stop by the old place for stuff, and there's Thursday night TV to be watched. Alas, that prolly means I won't get too much play time. And I'd like to get to sleep before midnight one of these days.
I feel guilty about complaining about being tired, sincepsyched_out seems a little worse off than me, earlier this week. Especially since I have no one to blame but myself. At least he has some excuse. I just couldn't get to sleep before midnight. Which is dumb since I have to wake up like half an hour earlier now since I have a longer commute. And it has me just feeling generally exhausted lately.
