no more cherry poptarts!
Ah, I'm finishing the last of the cherry poptarts today. And never again will I buy them. I don't like wasting food, so I won't throw them out, but the frosting on the cherry poptarts looks like puke. I didn't even want cherry. I just wasn't paying attention and thought it was strawberry.
Anyways, today is the company picnic. But I'm not going, because I volunteered to help cover here. It was quite foolish, because just because we're out partying doesn't mean everyone else is on break. I think most of my friends at work wouldn't be there anyway as they either work the later shifts or don't do the company picnic thing, so I'd just be sitting by myself eating and drinking. Which doesn't sound like a bad idea right now as I think about it, because I'm starving.
And, I heard Williamson Brothers was doing the catering. Their BBQ is pretty good. Speaking of BBQ, there are plenty of good BBQ joints around town, they even had an article on git.general about it. I was surprised that I had been to every single one mentioned. I dunno, of those mentioned, I like Dreamland for their heaping meat salads, and Spiced Right for their variety of sauces. But the other joints have their pluses and minuses, which one would prolly find by going through old entries here. They'd most likely start with "So, I hit BBQ joint X last night with
psyched_out..."
Anyways, getting back to work, I hope the Prism/Spectrum merger this weekend goes off without a hitch. Or Monday is going to totally suck ass.
