It had cyber-ninjas and John Woo-style double gun action, what's not to like? But it was also cool to see Wes's conviction when it comes to Fred. She was about to be put in grave danger, and there was no hesitation on his part, he blew his "pops" away before he even put the gun to her head.
Of course, this whole re-writing of history thing gets a little confusing. I mean, if he didn't steal Connor a couple of seasons ago, he wouldn't be kicked out of the MoG and be the rough and tumble player he is currently. And did Connor not exist at all? Did Holtz still travel to their time? Was Darla even preggers? Is she still dead? How do they explain Cordy being in a coma?
And has Gunn totally written Fred off? I mean, they still have the triangle thing going on with her and Wes, but instead of Gunn its Knox now. Do they not even remember going out? Its all very confusing.
Got my emissions inspection done Thursday since I have to renew in a few weeks. Because its almost my berf-day! For you gift givers, I was gonna suggest the DC 2nd season DVDs, but that doesn't come out until a week and a half after my birthday. So keep that in mind for X-mas. One of these years got to do a Pony trip. I want the variety twofers!
Anyways, with a little more free time on my hands, been getting to play some more XL. Picked up a third of the 11ths, including some of the ones I thought would be impossible. I give myself another week before I get all the new stuff.
Driving back from C+T's on Friday, had to drop off David back at his dorm. Frat row was busy partying, saw a couple of mad cute sorority hotties crossing the street as we drove by. Had the urge to roll down the window and say something, but then realized I should be paying attention to the road before I smacked into the car in front of me. After dropping David off, apparently Charlie had had the same idea, but when we swung by again, the honeys were nowhere to be seen. Owel. Like I should really be cruising for sorority tail at 1am in the morning.
Work has been pretty uneventful. There was a pain in the ass SCSI cable that refused to be unplugged. And I had to call a DISH tech to come on site since our WB feed wasn't coming in. Alas, they weren't able to get it fixed in time for Charmed. But its fixed at least.
