TV commentary:
The Magicians- Wow, they do not like her. Alice and Plover escape, and she tricks him into the Poison World, so that's that with him. Or so we think, for all Alice knows, that place is safe now.
Anyways, she shows up at Q's to warn him about his impending death. Needless to say, he's not happy to see her after what she did. I guess they didn't even know she was a prisoner, I supposed they thought she was living it up in the library.
So first things first. Shoshana accidentally lifts the cloaking spell from Julia while investigating what she is. As she's putting it back, Julia is visited by Iris, who gives her answers- she's the worst of both worlds. She's as powerless as a human with a god's immortality. She tasks Julia with trapping the Monster by giving her a stone from the castle the Monster was formerly trapped in. It is infused with magical blood, and that was what kept the monster locked in.
If they draw the blood out of the stone and douse Eliot with it, it should stun him long enough to take him back to the castle forever. Q's fine with this since he things Eliot's dead.
But, Eliot is still trapped in his body, and goes through an adventure of past memories in order to find a door to temporarily communicate with the gang. It was hidden in a bad memory, so it takes a bit of searching and we find out what- turns out right after Quelliot got back from their lifetime together, Q wanted to give it a go, but Eliot blew him off.
Eliot regretted that moment, because he knew he was being a chicken, so to find his door, he tells memory Quentin how he really feels. Which allows him to regain control of his body enough to let Quentin know he's still alive in there.
Which brings us back to Quentin's death. So Alice finds out its because Quentin gets distracted when they plan to trick the Monster and douse him with the magic blood, so Alice is there to change the circumstances. Only once Q finds out Eliot is alive, he blocks Alice from dousing him after the Monster regains control.
Iris shows up, pissed that they effed up, but then the Monster shows up behind her and kills her (and Shoshana when she tries to protect Julia). He gets another stone. The gang is able to save themselves by claiming this was their plan all along, to give him Iris, and Julia is forced to tell the Monster what she and Shoshana had found out in their research on the first stone. Apparently its parts for a body, perhaps its former body.
So they're saved, but the gang sends Alice away because they still haven't forgiven her. Other stuff, Margo has to deal with breaking news of Eliot's death to Fillory. Fen is disturbed that Margo hasn't grieved, but Margo says she can't- if she does she'll never stop and she'll be useless.
Oh, and Penny23 gets grabbed by the same guy who grabbed Marina.
