TV commentary:
Daredevil- Heh, halfway through the 5th ep, and I'm like, seriously?! So Fisk names Matt as an accomplice to all his shady dealings, and its hilarious, because Nadeem starts looking into Karen and Foggy over it, but he's not specific about what he's looking for.
Like he mentions them taking money from Fisk once, which both Karen and Foggy make it clear it was unknowingly. But Nadeem doesn't elaborate, so when he starts talking about criminal charges for Matt, they think its over the Daredevil thing. Which to be fair, is reasonable, because never in a million years would they think the Feds would suspect Matt of being Fisk's fixer.
And hoo boy, is Fisk like some sorta psychic mastermind?! I mean, Dex is obviously a psycho, but the fact he was able to not only learn about Julie, but hire her to inadvertently cause trouble is next level. I mean, since Karen is pretty sure Fisk owns the hotel, that must've been his hand to get Julie hired immediately.
Because its not like he specifically tried to cause an issue. He just threw Julie into Dex's orbit, and correctly assumed his stalker-y tendencies would come out and blow it all up. I mean, I guess it isn't an unreasonable assumption, because anyone who spends enough time with Dex would prolly realized he's unhinged, but its still kinda insane that it worked out so perfectly.
