Legends of Tomorrow- So now we know! It turns out Ava is not a robot, she's a clone. (Which seems to be ruffling a few feathers since she's supposed to be the perfect woman made from the best genes and ahe's a white lady) Now, she didn't know she was a clone, it turns out Rip recruited her and gave her a fake life, but we'll have to wait until next week to find out why.
Heh, did modern day Vixen and the Arrowverse people having a falling out? Its weird how they'll constantly mention her but won't actually have her on. Like, oh she's in the hospital, but cut to them in the waiting room and them being all, "Glad to see she's okay!" and talk to other people about her, but not to her.
Anyways, because Amaya lost her totem, the timeline is changing so Mari is trying to be a vigilante even without her superpowers. She gets hurt, so Nate and Wally go to check on her and bump into Kuasa. Who's actually there to protect her sister.
She's not too keen on Nate, because she sees him as a threat to her existence, because he's not her grandpa, so if Amaya sticks with him, she and Mari will never be born. But also, if Amaya doesn't get back her totem, that'll also be bad for Kuasa and Mari. So she works with Nate to have him "pretend" to be captured so they can trade him for the totem.
So the Darhk's show up, and Mallus-Nora is all, sure whatever, this totem is nothing. Only, it turns out its a double cross, and she turns Nate over to them for real. Kuasa goes back to the waverider to present the spirit totem back to her grandma. All, "here's your totem back, cool bonus, I set up Nate to be killed so you can get with Gramps!" Kuasa defends her actions all, she's trying to keep the timeline intact, unlike her, who's sacrificing her granddaughters' futures to be with Nate. Needless to say, Amaya is not pleased and basically tells her granddaughter is irredeemable. You can tell Kuasa is incredibly hurt by the statement.
Meanwhile, Damien is actually not all that into torturing Nate, because he's not happy with what his daughter has become. So while Mallus-Nora is away, he's actually venting to Nate while pretending to torture him. Only, his possessed daughter catches him and is displeased. She knocks her dad out and is about to drain Nate, when Amaya and Wally show up. Nora actually makes short work of Wally by temporarily draining his speed, while Amaya is momentarily stunned because her totem was still corrupted by Mallus.
But Kuasa shows up in the chaos to free Nate, and they team up against Nora. Kuasa tries to talk to Nora, to get her to turn her back on Mallus, since all either of them wanted was to fix their family relations. Kuasa's trying to make amends with her own family, and she knows all Nora wanted was her dad back, which she has. But Mallus isn't having it, and kills Kuasa by tearing the water totem out of her.
The Legends get away, but Amaya feels incredibly guilty, because she feels she caused Kuasa's death by getting mad at her, so Kuasa died trying to prove herself to her grandma. So Amaya grabs the Waverider to go back to 1992 and possibly change history.
Oh, also, Zari is tasked with teaching Mick how to use his totem. Which is trying since she's in the middle of her Ramadan fasting. Eventually Mick pisses her off so much that she schools him, until Kuasa dies, which Zari and Mick feel since the totems connect them all. They actually feel sad, despite hardly knowing her, and end up bonding over the feeling of loss.
Timeless- Some surprising developments! Agent Christopher can't actually get Flynn released because he's considered a terrorist, plus Rittenhouse has a lot of influence. So after the gang finishes the case of the week (stopping a Rittenhouse sleeper from giving Citizen Kane to William Randolph Hearst before its released in exchange for a column in his paper to start on the propaganda and returning the film, with help from Hedy Lamarr along the way) they drop off a gas mask and map behind the walls of Flynn's cell while the prison was still being built in order for him to recover it in the present to escape and get to the bunker. So I guess he's on the team now?
Meanwhile, everyone else gets wind of Jiya's condition, and Christopher makes her see a doctor. Mason tells her they shouldn't have let Jiya see a doctor, because he covered up the fact hat two previous lifeboat pilots also had issues- one died of a brain aneuryism and the other became a schizophrenic. So all this will do is make Jiya depressed. But to their surprise, she has a clean bill of health- even better than before, because she used to have a heart murmur, which is now gone.
And finally, Wyatt and Lucy get together! Only when he gets back, he gets a mysterious text. He breaks out of the bunker to go see... Jessica, who's somehow alive again!
TWD- Smooth move, ex-lax! So the Savior attack against the Hilltop goes poorly, the Hilltop kicks their asses. Plus Maggie tries to threaten to kill their hostages, but Simon is all, whatever, which Aiden totally hears, so he's not too keen on his former people anymore.
But despite kicking ass, they experience a few losses. And Maggie feels guilty because she tells Dianne she did the coffin thing to rile Negan up, to goad him to attack to lead him there so she could kill him in front of Glenn's grave. But meanwhile, everyone's praising her, all, she's thinking of everyone else, when she really risked their lives.
Things go bad because of the Savior's zombie poisoned weapons, which tag Tobin and a bunch of randos. So of course Carol feels guilty about Tobin, because they had just started talking again. Plus, she's all the fight and survival is all she's got, and Tobin had been repeating the theme of the latter half of the season that, there has to be something else after this war.
But yeah, its kinda silly and dumb because, apparently the Hilltop doesn't have any guards posted, despite the fact that there's zombies and Saviors and all sorts of threats out there. So when the wounded start turning, they attack with impunity because no one's on lookout. Also, they're somehow stealth zombies, who's victims don't scream, or everyone is a really deep sleeper, because it takes a while of free kills before people even realize there's a threat.
And while all this happens, stupid Henry, who didn't believe Carol that he killed his brother's killer sneaks into the prisoner pen with an assault rifle, demanding his brother's killer or he'll kill all of them. Too bad some of the Savior prisoners got tagged with the infected weapons also, and start attacking, distracting Henry enough for his brother's actual killer to get the jump on him, steal the gun and escape.
Aiden stays behind with some other prisoners to close the gate so zombies don't get in, which he hopes proves his willingness to join up with them to Maggie.
They eventually figure out the infected weapon thing. Which, Dwight totally shot Tara with an arrow, before Simon could attack her. So I guess they're doing the infection fake out with her instead of Rick? I guess that's actually fine. But yeah, she doesn't know she's not infected by the end of the ep, though given how everyone else hit turned already, her still being fine should be a clue.
But nope, they all think she's infected, which she sees as karma- Dwight really was trying to help them, and she drove him off in her quest for revenge, and she thinks he rejoined the saviors. Hopefully they'l figure out what he did before they kill him or Tara!
