TV commentary:

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend- I get where she's coming from, but she's not really being fair. I mean, Paula and Rebecca's friendship can seem one-sided at times. After all, the whole basis of their friendship first season was Paula enabling Rebecca with her crazy plans to get Josh. So yeah, a lot of time the focus is on Rebecca.

That being said, yes, Rebecca flaked on the letter, but I think Paula is attributing behavior to Rebecca that's not necessarily there. Rebecca can be crazy and obsessed, but she is a nice person at heart. So its not fair of Paula to presume Rebecca would just ignore her issues. I mean, if she told Rebecca what was going on in her life, and then Rebecca just ignored her and went back to her own thing, by all means, she should get very angry. But when Rebecca visited her and asked her what's wrong, and Paula didn't answer because she thought Rebecca would be dismissive or too self-involved to care? That's not Rebecca's fault! Paula can't accuse Rebecca of a shitty friend when she doesn't give her a chance to be a good friend!

In any case, this was one of the more amusing and surreal eps of the season. Heh, Heather's version of "Trapped in the Closet" was hilarious. And was Friendtopia a Spice Girls nod?

One thing I like about this show is the breaking of stereotypes. Like, they could've continued to play Daryl just shitting over Maya all the time as a silly ongoing joke, like Robin's unwarranted hatred of Patrice on HIMYM. But it was pleasantly surprising to see her stand up for herself and call Daryl out on being such an asshole and working things out. Development!

And heh, it was amusing to see Trent show up again. Now, is he really gone after this since Beks was all, "I'll screw you tonight, but I have no interest in seeing you again!"
