Venture Bros- How is that the season finale?! I mean, Red Death was pretty awesome, but there are so many unresolved threads! Are they going to be finish up in an hour special a year from now?! bbv('This is total BS!')
Supergirl- Heh, that isn't very reassuring! So Pete from WH13 playing Guardian and Lucy are worried that MM snuck into the DEO to do something insidious. After some interrogations, they decide to throw Hank and Alex in Project Cadmus. So, Kara reveals her true identity to Lucy in order to get her help. Which, even though the flashbacks we saw were supposed to be from Hank and Alex telling them, they weren't privy to everything we saw in them?
Like obviously Hank must have left out the part where Jeremiah says one of his daughters is like Hank, or Hank finding party girl Alex and saying she knows about her sister. Like, what did they think they meant? Plus, you'd think seeing Supergirl and Alex together would hit her like a ton of bricks all, "Duh, Kara is Supergirl!" Though I guess when she finds out, she is all, "It makes total sense, I just didn't want to believe it!" Lucy is all, why are you aliens liars? And Kara is all, you don't know what its like, we have to go against things we believe just so we can fit in. Which I guess convinces Lucy.
So Lucy helps Kara... by hopping on a motorcycle wherein they run the truck carrying Guardian, Hank, and Alex off the road, causing Harper to drop the remote controlling the field suppressing MM's powers. And so Hank wipes Jim's mind, though he has learned more control, so he doesn't leave him a drooling vegetable. And he gets Jim to resign. And with him resigned, Hank and Alex on the run, the new head of the DEO is Lucy for some reason, even though she's just a lawyer, and isn't really familiar with the DEO or its procedures. But Kara is going to help her out now that they're apparently friends.
And its funny, because they're doing the things the government was worried about, mind controlling folks inconvenient to them, having people with secret agendas.
But while in the Guardian's mind, Hank learns Jeremiah is alive, so Hank and Alex are going to find him.
Other stuff, Siobahn tries to get Kara fired by writing a fake e-mail, but Wynn exposes her, so she's mad, gets drunk has an argument with him, and falls off the roof, only for her banshee powers to kick in. Which I guess is a surprise for people who didn't know she was the Silver Banshee.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend- Aw, Rebecca gets some insights that will hopefully get her on the road to healing. So apparently that plane Becs was taking was to NY, she was going to move back there and go back to her old job. Luckily, she had a weird psychic dream where therapist lady was her dream ghost guide. She learns her mom does love her, protecting her from finding out her dad is a douche who couldn't even be bothered to spend a few days with her when she sneaks off to see him. So her mother ended up taking the blame for that, Rebecca thinking she dragged her back to NY for running away when it was her dad who wanted her mom to take her back, even though her mom asked if he could just have her for a couple of days.
Also, she gets insight into college, where she goes to do a musical and meets a nice sad-sack, but then gets enamored with the director douche. At first she thinks the lesson is that she shouldn't have ignored the nice guy for the handsome dick, but the Dream Ghost knocks some sense into her. Its not about a man. It shouldn't be about a man. She loved working on that musical, she was even reconsidering law to follow her passion. But then she quit something she liked just to get away from an asshole.
Lastly, she sees back at West Covina, Josh, Greg, Paula, and Daryl are all worried about her when they can't find her, and then when Paula finds out she's going to NY, they're all sad and going to miss her. Even Greg, who's acting all aloof.
So she has more love than she knows. It may not be some lovie-dovie romance thing, but she's not alone. And maybe once she sees it and accepts it, she can be in a better place and be ready for that true love she thinks she's waiting for.
