TV commentary:
PLL- Ah, good to see the Rosewood Police Department is still terrible. All it took was Aria spilling a coffee cup to find out the identity of a witness against her. Good thing she wasn't actually like some sort of hardened criminal killer! It is hilarious that Tanner had to tell Aria she couldn't just ask who was behind the mirror picking her out of a lineup.
But anyways, Aria learns from the witness statement that the person who the witness think she is has a pink dice keychain. And who does Em find out has a pink dice key chain? Mona. Heh, at least the Liars are getting tougher. She doesn't take any guff, she tells Mona to get in the car with her and tell her exactly what's going on. But I guess since she's the one most imperiled by all these crazies.
Anyways, some interesting reveals about the years during the time jump. So, apparently Toby almost knocked up Spencer. And she was none to pleased at the prospect of being a sophmore in college with a baby. And Toby was none too pleased that Spencer was displeased at having a kid with him. He took it all personally, thinking she didn't think he was good enough. Dude, she just didn't want a kid with you now! (or then) She hadn't even finished college yet, and she wouldn't be able to accomplish what she wanted with a kid. Excuse her for not wanting to drop out and forgo all her aspirations.
So the fact that happened to them complicated matters. So, Spencer eventually fesses up the truth to Toby, because she wanted him to know she would never do that to Yvonne given what they went through.
