The Originals- Looks like some big changes are a-coming. So Aurora captures Freya to draw Klaus and Elijah out. I was thinking, why would she want to kill Elijah, wouldn't that kill her brother? But I guess that was the point, since her brother is doomed to drown and come back to life forever, killing Elijah would end his suffering.

In any case, for some reason she wastes a bullet on Freya, which, she only has a limited amount of those. If she wants to wound Freya use a normal bullet! And heh, I know she wanted to wound her so she would bleed out before Klaus could find her, but it only helped Klaus find her sooner since she used her Finn necklace to magic (since she was drugged with the same stuff Tristan used on his sister to keep her addled) the blood through the coffin and to the ground so Klaus could tell which burial plot she was in.

She manages to shoot Elijah, but luckily the bullet doesn't pierce his heart and Klaus is able to pull it out in time. In the end, she doesn't manage to kill any Mikaelsons, and I believe only has 1 bullet left. Well, actually I have no idea, because I didn't count, and that's presuming she only had enough bullets for the revolver with no extra, and she might have a little more.

Meanwhile, Davina has figured out the sire unlinking spell. But she says to finish the spell, she needs help from someone who knows Esther's magic, i.e. Kol. Aya expected as much, so she produces a hand of glory, a creepy looking dismembered arm holding a candle. Once the candle is lit, Davina will able to see and talk with Kol until it burns out. Unbeknownst to them, the Sisters have spelled it so its basically a bug, allowing them to hear everything they say.

They flirt, but when it comes time to get the ingredient, Kol is mum. Turns out he has a good reason to keep it secret- Davina goes through Esther's thought process, and eventually susses out they need the heart of someone outside of the sire line. Which she says aloud, to Kol's chagrin, because he knew once Davina figured it out of course she wouldn't want to go through with it, or allow the Strix/Sisters coven to follow up. And at this point they realize the Sisters know everything Davina knows.

Because who's a vampire yet outside the sire line? Hayley! She was turned through Hope's blood. And where was Hayley at that point? At the gym, teaching Cami to defend herself, because the newbie is all, "I can't even hope to defend myself from someone like Josh!" and is relying on her dark objects. Which the age thing is bullshit, because the MF gang are constantly defeating people much older than them. But even then, a centuries difference may make a... well, difference. But Josh is only a couple years older than her, vampire wise. It would be a fair fight.

Besides, the dark objects are useful, but even more helpful? Knowing how to actually use your vamp abilities to augment your fighting prowess AND having dark objects! Anyways, the Sisters come in and attack. The girls put up a fight, but the Sisters are too powerful. But since the Sisters are all linked, Kol tells Davina if he knocks her out, it will drop the rest of them. So he does, and Hayley is saved... from them. Too bad Aya shows up at that point to finish the job. Lucky for Hayley Marcel shows up and convinces Aya to hold off for a little bit, he'll figure out a solution that doesn't involve killing Hayley.

Davina comes to, and heh, almost gets to kiss Kol before the candle runs out. The Mikaelsons get up to speed once they return from the woods after the whole Aurora ordeal. They figure out that there IS a solution that won't result in Hayley's death. Jackon's heart fits the bill. Because of the special marriage ceremony, Jackson's heart became a mirror of Hayley's, and as such should work. The Mikaelsons go to retrieve the heart, but not to offer it up to protect Hayley, but to prevent the Strix from using it to break the sire line, because they feel the link encourages the vamps of the quarter to help them.

Too bad Marcel figured it out himself and took the heart first. Remember, he has some loyalty towards the Mikaelsons, but he's always wanted to get out from under their thumb. And no longer having to worry about dying if Klaus dies is definitely a step in that direction. So Davina has all the ingredients she needs and they plan to do the spell.

Oh, in the end Aya finds Aurora, possibly before she's about to kill herself, and wants to team up.
