Woah, the creators of Legend of Korra confirmed Korrasami is indeed canon! Nice little article by Bryke explaining how they got to that point, and how they tried to be as unambiguous as best they could within the constraints they were given.
But yeah, everyone on my tumblr feed had been so elated as of late, I was worried it would be taken away, that the powers that be would be all, "That's one way you could read it" and would try to be magnanimous about it, wanting to cater to the queer fans but not actually cross the line. Never did I imagine that the writers would be all, "Nope, you're not reading too much into it, they're a couple!"
And I think that's pretty cool. Should they have stuck with their original plan to nix any sort of romance in the last two seasons and just have Korra and Asami be really good friends? That would've been a legitimate way to go. But I think the chance for LGBTQA representation is an opportunity that just couldn't be missed.
So Elephant Man was pretty good. Bradley Cooper looked like Bradley Cooper on stage, but when he came out at the stage door I swear he looked totally different. Also, I realize its been 20 years, and he's not wearing glasses, and he has a mustache, but I didn't recognize Pollux Troy either.
