So the last few last few eps of Carmilla were just mean and sad and depressing. And since the show has such a strong fandom, some joker made this. And its like the scene in 50 First Dates, with Adam Sandler screaming, "You're sick, why would you do that?!!" How deliciously cruel.
I'm holding out for a happy ending this coming Tuesday.
So I'm up in NYC for Thanksgiving. Because the fam is getting up there and they have other stuff to prepare, they actually got the holiday dinner from Boston Market and had a pre-made turkey that they could just stuff in the oven for a couple of hours. But there was all the stuff from that, a honey baked ham, a dozen lobsters, the typical Filipino fare, like lumpia, which they made from both chicken and pork, because K's fiancee doesn't eat pork. So way too much food.
After, played Ticket to Ride: Europe with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
7500centfish, A, J, and M. And I shockingly won. Managed to get all my tickets done, including my 21 point super ticket. And when I first saw it, I thought it was going to be impossible!
TV commentary:
Legend of Korra- Interesting. So, Zaheer of all people, helps Korra get her groove back- after finding out his deposing the Earth Queen led Kuvira to power, their interest align... for now.
Also, Varrick and Bolin finally arrive back in Republic City, and tell everyone about the spirit vine weapon. Korra also informs them that Kuvira's cutting into the giant tree in the swamp, having seen it by doing the trick Toph taught her.
So, the president makes Varrick and Asami, "the two smartest minds in the city", to come up with a countermeasure. Meanwhile, Bolin tries to win back Opal, but she's pretty mad. But she's willing to forgive him if he helps her and Lin on a secret mission to rescue her family.
