TV commentary:
Legend of Korra- Heh, that ep was awesome! I mean, say the whole, "Oh, Korra and Asami are just really good friends! People are just reading too much into things!" But really, Asami tells Korra how much she loves her new hair, and Korra blushes and feels the need to complement Asami back? Not very "just friends"-y. But heh, poor Mako, finding out Korra had only been writing to Asami. But yeah, him being all, "Is there something going on between you two?" when they started arguing totally seemed like the clueless guy not realizing his exes are in lesbians with each other.
Interesting though- so Mako and Bolin's family have been living on Asami's palatial estate? That's nice of her. But dangit, don't they want to teach Prince Wu a lesson? So not only will he still be living in luxury, but since the matriarch of the family is all, "Yea, a-hole royals!" won't they just be doting on him the whole time? How is he going to learn to not be a douchey rich guy?
Varrick and Bolin do escape the Earth kingdom with the help of some refugees. It was nice to see Varrick actually be useful. Most of the time he's played as a fop, so its easy to forget he's actually kinda a genius.
But heh, I guess they're trying to make Kuvira less of a grey-area bad guy and more into an actual nazi. I mean, they were going with that imagery before, given how fascist her forces are. But now we come to find she's been sending non-earth benders to the camps simply for being non-earth benders?
And uh-oh, she and her forces are about to mess with Toph's swamp. Which means Toph will be rallied to action. Though since this show is about Korra, and Korra needs to be the one to defeat Kuvira, they're going to have Toph job to Kuvira. Which prolly won't sit well with fans.
