The Originals- Interesting look into the past! So that bird necklace Esther gave to Klaus, it seems like it had a nefarious aspect to it. It was meant to keep Klaus weak- as TWD reminded us recently, the werewolf gene makes the person hyper aggressive. That way, Esther could ensure Klaus didn't accidentally kill someone, activating the werewolf curse and revealing her affair. Its interesting, because while it did keep his true parentage a secret for a while, it still prevented Mikael from accepting Klaus as his son. Mikael was a proud viking warrior, so with Klaus weakened by the necklace, Mikael was disgusted by this weak son of his.

Its funny though, that Klaus only just now figured it out, after nearly a millennia. Like why now, just because his mother was back? Like why not back in MF when she came back the first time? In any case, his mom jumped bodies to another witch Lenore- that one lady from the Wire and Burn Notice. But at least Cassie is still alive! Hopefully its not the last we've seen of her, because she's cute. Also, I'm amused because, I figured she just hijacked Cassie's corpse. But I guess, Cassie resurrected, but then Esther possessed her?

In any case, Esther jumps into Lenore so she can have a quick convo with Hayley without her boys interrupting. And what is she offering to Hayley (and her children)? She claims she just wants to free them from their immortal bodies so they can live out normal lives, no longer cursed. Of course, I'm not sure she can be believed.

Also, we find out why Finn kinda hates his brothers. After all, he was daggered for 900 years, he didn't get to "enjoy" his immortal life like his siblings. He expected it from Klaus, but it really smarts that Elijah let him stay daggered.
