Pretty Little Liars- What the frick!? Zach seemed like such a nice guy before! But now he's like some creeper pervert putting the moves on Hanna when he's about to get engaged to Aria's mom?! And what the shit, Aria? So Hanna tells Aria about it, and Aria thinks Hanna got boozed up and drunkedly hit on him. On the one hand, one can see why Aria is skeptical, because Zach being a pedo is out of the freaking blue. On the other, Hanna is her friend. Yeah, she's been a mess, but its not cool to not believe her when she claims some guy was trying to take advantage of her.
Spencer and Emily weren't so great in that department either. They figured maybe she drunkedly imagined it, and she has to be careful because if she was wrong, she can't take it back. Its like way to have your friend's back! And yeah, this whole deal isn't going to make her go further down her downward spiral.
Hopefully Emily will pick up on the inconsistencies with Sydney. They figured someone overheard her and Sydney's convo at the Brew, and that's how A knew. But then Sydney claims Hanna didn't mention NY at all. But then in a later conversation, Sydney talks about NY, and Emily was all, I thought you said Hanna didn't say anything about NY? Unfortunately before Emily can press on, she gets distracted by the mystery of the week and runs off and possibly forgets all about how shady Sydney is starting to seem.
And heh, now that Ali's real mom is gone, is she trying to steal Hanna's? Again, what the shit, so someone breaks into the Marin house, scaring Ashley and making her go all protective mama bear over Ali. And it turns out that was Ali's intention. She tells Spencer and Emily that she had gotten Noel Kahn to do it so Ashley would worry and dote over her. What is she, a sociopath?! Well, I guess we knew that, but still!
Anyways, Rhonda catches Aria trying to return her sketch book, but finally agrees to answer Aria's questions for a can of soda and some chips. Apparently Mrs. D once took Bethany on a horsie ride somewhere (she showered Bethany with a bunch of "gifts" like this, perhaps to bribe her into shutting up about possibly seeing what happened to Toby's mom?), so Spencer and Emily go to investigate.
Spencer ends up finding Melissa's riding hat there, thought they're not sure if Melissa was really there, or if A just planted it there to mess with their heads. In any case, A locks them in a stable next to a horse that flips out, and Spencer gets kicked in the face for her trouble.
And ha, apparently Toby is going to the police academy. He's sick of the people he loves being in danger and how Rosewood PD are a bunch of keystone cops and/or corrupt preverts. Plus, he tries to sell it as having access to new resources that could help them against A. Spencer is skeptical at first, but after getting kicked in the head and learning Toby is tired of feeling powerless, she encourages him to go- and to graduate early so he can help ASAP!
