TV commentary:

Justified- Jimmy James is right, that is an insane gamble Raylan is taking. So to drive a final wedge between Daryl and Wendy, he has Vasquez try Kendal as an adult for attempted murder of a Federal officer, which has a mandatory sentence of 40 years. Wendy, is of course, freaking out, and Raylan admits its his bastard move. We'll have to wait until next week to see how this plays out.

Also, Ava is fucked! So Raylan starts the ep basically harassing everyone he can to try and smoke Daryl out, doing things like getting Duffy's Winnebago impounded and saying he could make things awful for Ava in prison. Which is all kinda messed up, since she's in that position because some crazy CO stabbed himself to frame her. Like I'm surprised Raylan doesn't ask if she actually did it, does he actually believe she could? I mean, she does keep company with some pretty bad people, and she did kill her husband in self defense, but still. So its kinda sad that Raylan is threatening her for leverage, when she shouldn't even be there. And she's just going through so much shit, she doesn't even try to bring that up.

But yeah, Penny gets killed (no!) by that one lady who beat her up earlier in the season's gang, and its pretty clear Ava's next. So she changes her mind and says she will get Boyd to help him if he can get her out of there, but unfortunately Boyd already helped, since he was trying to take out Daryl by sending both the Marshalls and Mexicans after him. So there's no deal Raylan can make, but he promises to see if he can find some way to help. Again, you'd think she'd bring up being framed to kinda make him feel more sorry for her.

Things also don't look so good for Jimmy, who's being held at gunpoint (possibly about to be executed?) by the Mexicans. Which is sad, because ironically, Boyd calls him warning him to get the hell out of dodge, while he's already captured.

Oh, also, Boyd lets slip to Tim and Rachel that Raylan had something to do with Nicky Augustine's death, but it doesn't seem to have the affect he hoped for, since Tim and Rachel are all, "Whatever!"
