Was going to use one of the free AMC tickets I got for Christmas to see Frozen today since I knew the usual suspects wouldn't see it. I liked the soundtrack, and the whole thing had a very Wicked feel, and not just because the Snow Queen was voiced by Idina Menzel. But, when I got there, I saw a bunch of kids going in, so I felt like a total creeper going by myself. So, instead, I went and saw Catching Fire.
I liked it a lot more than the first one. And hey, I've always had a thing for Jena Malone. And even before that bit of casting, Johanna Mason always seemed interesting to me, because you know how I like the crazy bad-asses. But yeah, I enjoyed it, even if some people in the theater were pissed about the ending. Like really, there were some vocal people complaining about them ending the movie like this. Did they not know it was part of a series, so of course it was going to end in a cliffhanger? I wonder if they were pissed about how Desolation of Smaug ended also?
