My first entry

So Phat Joe comes down out of boredom and tells me I should do this live journal thing. Prolly cause I constantly post inane stories about my life on git.talk.grimstari. I'm bored half the time at work anyways, and if I'm recounting life stories or personal insights or whatever, why not do it on a forum where people beyond Georgia Tech can see it, eh?

Of course, I tried keeping a written journal numerous times and those were always short-lived. I'd have something interesting to say the first couple of days, but then I'd get into a lull and just forget about it. But I suppose since this is on the computer, and by virtue of my job, I'm in front of one for at least 8 hours a day(not counting the times I'm on at home), I can work on it more often.

Oh well, now that I got the why's out of the way, now on to the meat and potatoes, right? I acutally have nothing of interest to say right now. Just another quiet day at work. (knock on wood) No ip requests, all systems nominal, just watching some videos on MTV and eating spaghetti and sausage left-overs from Carraba's last night.

I think I have to drive Scott to the airport today. He's off to my hometown, New York City. So with w00t-boy still in Santa Barbara, I've got the place to myself. Not that I have any chicas to bring over for a "dirty" weekend as you birds call it. Anyways, I haven't thought about what I'm gonna do for the weekend. Prolly just the same old, same old, "hanging out".

Though I realize now that might be why Sato was wondering what my weekend plans were. With her bf Scott up in NY, I don't think she has anyone to really hang with this weekend. She was wondering if I was gonna see American Pie II. I know Chris has no interest in seeing it, and Krug is busy Saturday, so I might see it Sunday with Krug. I guess I could be polite and invite Sato along, but how would that work? I'm not sure Ben would be pleased with that. (why? I suppose I could expound on the whole Scott-Sato-Ben sitch, but I don't think they'd be too pleased if I recounted the whole sordid tale to random strangers who might be reading this on the internet. Besides, I'm too lazy right now. One day, if I'm feeling particularly expositional I'll revert to my usual blabbermouth self.)
