Considering how many times I've been rear-ended now--by texting teenagers, drunk drivers, just plain idiots, etc--sure, I think I'd trust an AI a whole lot more than most people.

If it's well-programmed enough, I'd let it cart me around while I sleep :) Especially if it's got sensors on all sides and a good ducking program.
